K. Jimmy shared this quote with me in regards to the youth I work with. I thought it was too good to keep to myself.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." ~ Anais Nin

ha ha....oh i love computers...this is my THIRD attempt in the last couple of days to answer your question- "YES! go ahead and use the quote! it aint mine anyway!"
i got it from a very useful website- www.brainyquote.com "i think- dont quote me- no pun intended!!!)
anyway i thought it was a great quote too and ive discovered a few good ones from anais nin. it made me want to find out a bit more about her. i discovered she was married twice, and after her death her second husband had her diaries published, and it's from these that i guess all her "pearls" spring forth.
anyway, glad everyone liked it! ha ha

Live... love... laugh... – Thanks for dropping by, and the kind words.

Jel - Morning, to you too!

K. Jimmy - Thanks a bunch. Sorry to hear about the difficulties getting back to me.

Wow, those diaries must have contained some real pearls.

yeah, im hoping to get my hands on the whole lot and read it someday.
another person who's writing i find fascinating (it's good for those quick five-minute-read-here-and-there kinda thing- like coffee table books...) is Jewel Kilcher. i had a book of hers once that was full of just random diary excerpts, photos, stories, thoughts and poetry. nice.
