This youth group was supposed to be a temporary assignment. But those old fires are reigniting in me. My heart is breaking too, all over again. I don’t know where all this is leading, but I’m having fun.

The youth are important to the Lord and he chose you to lead them. It is so cool to hear how your heart is for the youth.
God bless you and keep you. May He shine through you so others may know Him.

It's cool to be back on the front lines.

there's a quote i'm thinking of- one that has been speaking to me a bit lately, and it has to do with stepping out bravely into new and sometimes frightening things that we maybe dont fully understand yet...it goes like this, "And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
Anais Nin
you go, Curm! like rulan said, God has ordained you for this.

Thank you for the kind encouragement.

I love the quote. I think I’ll use it in tomorrow’s blog (if that’s ok?)

Donna, I think a good evening is more appropriate now.

Yes, that is a wonderful quote. Too good to hide in my quotes.

God bless you my friend.

Assuming K. Jimmy is ok with it, go for it, use the quote.

As for you writing, I visited this last weekend, but didn’t see anything new. I hope you do. Especially the poems.

As you can imagine, I split my blog visits up, so I only make it by one or two times each week. On the ones with comment moderation, I do not usually leave a comment.

Lol... for that matter, I usually only leave comments on the blogs that first leave one on mine. Pretty lame, eh?
